Tour
Montjuïc hill offers some of the best views of the city, it’s full of wonderful and historic sites, and offers a nice opportunity to stay away from the crowds for a while. The tour finishes with a visit to Poble Espanyol, a recreation of a medieval town with many of the most charming Spanish architectural styles, that was built for the 1929 International Exposition.
On this tour, there’s a general plan, based on what’s most interesting. However, there’s a lot of freedom of choice on this tour and a lot of things to be recommended, feel free to share with me your interests so we can adjust to make sure you have a wonderful experience.

Montjuïc
Also called The Magic Mountain, this hill is full of beautiful and interesting places to visit, like museums and botanical gardens that are worth visiting. It also hosts the Catalonia National Art Museum and, conveniently, it’s almost next to the Poble Espanyol.
There are a lot of breathtaking sights here that are, not only enjoyable, but they also offer the opportunity to see the whole city from above. Don’t forget to charge your camera, you’ll need it.
Here’s where you’ll find the 1992 Barcelona Olympics core, with it’s Olympic Stadium and more, all in a Neoclassic style park. The stadium is, more often than not, open to the public.
Poble Espanyol
Created for Barcelona’s 1929 International Exposition, it offers the beautiful and varied architecture styles of the different regions of Spain. It’s a very charming and enriching experience that you don’t want to miss.
It offers the opportunity to watch, live, some traditional handmade crafts like glass blowing. There are activities for the kids and family if you want to join them, shops to get your special handmade tokens, restaurants to enjoy a meal and bars to enjoy a nice drink while chilling up and blending with the environment.
